I am an experienced systemic psychotherapist working with couples, families and individuals in-person in Walthamstow and online.
When we are struggling to navigate life’s difficulties, therapy can offer us a space to reflect on dilemmas, patterns or dynamics which may be feeling painful or stuck.
For couples and families, therapy offers a space for people to develop a greater understanding of each other, both when someone is experiencing mental health difficulties and in the context of general relationship distress. I have a particular specialism in working with people who are parents.
My approach is appreciative and strengths-focused. Whether you are coming as an individual, a couple or a family group, I offer a warm and non-judgmental space to explore the complexities and dilemmas that you are facing.
Alongside my private practice, I work in a local authority social work team with parents and children who are navigating family life in the context of mental health and relationship difficulties, often alongside severe intergenerational trauma. I have extensive experience of working in children’s social services, child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) and NHS adult mental health settings.
