My practice offers an expansive and compassionate space where individuals can work with all parts of themselves, in connection with their creativity. Cultivating a healing space together, we can explore what it is that brought you here, gently unpacking the narrative of your story, with all its joys, pain, successes and challenges. This can be a space for celebrating potential, as well as releasing that which no longer serves.
With 25 years’ experience as a psychotherapist, my work has spanned NHS, wellbeing and forensic settings. Alongside clinical practice, I work as a senior lecturer on professional clinical training programmes, which continues to inform and enrich my work with clients. I work in a number of areas including, anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, intimacy and love, addictions, trauma, including sexual abuse, adult attachment disorders, relationship and couples counselling, body dysmorphia, eating disorders and health and wellbeing.
Curiosity, compassion and respect for each person’s individuality are at the heart of my approach to therapy. The privilege of working in this field for so long has given me a deep belief in people’s capacity for growth, connection and transformation, even during the most difficult periods of their lives.
