There are many reasons for seeking therapy. You might want support with something specific like a relationship, a difficult decision to be made, or to cope with a loss or traumatic experience. Perhaps you want to explore more generally who and where you are in life, or you might just need a space to express your thoughts and feelings, to talk and be heard.
Everyone is different and there are no set outcomes for therapy. For some people simply talking can provide relief and this may be enough. For others, our sessions may lead to a better understanding of themselves, and help them live more comfortably and wholly within their circumstances, whilst others are actively looking to make changes and may develop particular goals to work towards.
