I am a HCPC registered clinical psychologist with 14 years of experience working in mental health settings. I have an MA in psychology from the University of Oxford and a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of London. I am also a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist. My training as a psychologist and a psychotherapist means that I bring expertise from both fields and enables me to draw on a range of approaches in understanding and addressing the unique concerns you bring.
Therapy can be a transformative and deeply rewarding experience, though at times a challenging one. There are many reasons for seeking therapy. You might be struggling with something specific like a relationship, a difficult decision or the after-effects of a traumatic event, or maybe you have a more general sense of not feeling satisfied even though outwardly things seem to be going quite well. I believe that whatever the difficulties we experience in life, in order to move forward and grow we have to look deeper into ourselves. I believe that therapy is about becoming who you really are and will support you to take the lead in sessions intuitively, allowing your authentic self to emerge.
