I am an integrative psychotherapist and registered member of the BACP offering in-person sessions in Walthamstow and online.
Being trained integratively means that I am able to draw on a variety of different theoretical approaches to therapy, rather than just one. In my case, this integration includes aspects of the psychodynamic, person-centred, existential, and cognitive-behavioural traditions. I chose this way of practicing because I believe that people’s therapeutic needs are unique and often change over time. As such, rather than trying to fit people into a theoretical framework, I tailor the therapy to the person I am working with.
In practical terms, this means fostering a warm and collaborative atmosphere in which we can openly discuss your concerns, as well as your hopes for the therapy, as they continue to evolve.
Therapy can feel daunting and unknown. But you don’t need to have it all worked out to start. Wherever you’re at, we can begin there.
