You might be coming to therapy with a sense that something doesn’t feel right inside. You might have worry, shame or sadness that feel overwhelming, or maybe you find it difficult to give a name to your feelings. Together we can talk through what’s happening in your life, and in your inner world, to make sense of what’s going on. By talking about past experiences we can piece together what may have influenced your current issues and shaped your ideas of yourself, others, and the world around you. Then we can identify what you want and need, and to find ways forward with you in the driving seat of your life.
Clients often come to me with feelings of worry, sadness, anger, that are consuming them, and after working together they understand themselves better and feel more able to cope with what comes their way. Clients often report feeling more settled in who they are, being clearer about their feelings and what they want, as well as having increased confidence in communicating with those around them.
As well as working at Walthamstow Therapy, I also have a practice in Marylebone, see clients online and provide walking therapy in the Walthamstow Wetlands.
