As human beings, we sometimes struggle with different aspects of our lives. Counselling can support you to make changes to address these struggles. As a trained and experienced counsellor, I provide a safe and supportive space to explore what brings you to therapy.
Starting counselling can be nerve-wracking. Trying to figure out by yourself what is going on in your life may feel like a difficult and lonely task and identifying the issues involved an impossible one. You may feel anxious and depressed, with life feeling empty. Relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and previous trauma may be troubling you. It may be work stress or family issues are impacting your day-to-day life.
Our first few sessions will be focused on getting to know each other, understanding what is going on for you and identifying what we may look to work on. All our sessions will be confidential, and I will help you to feel at ease, creating a trusting bond between us. Then we can start to work through what may be troubling you and identify ways and skills to help you through your struggles.
