I am a qualified child, adolescent and adult integrative psychotherapist accredited by UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and EMDR Therapist (Level 1, 2 and 3) working towards accreditation by EMDR Association.
Working as an integrative psychotherapist means that I tailor my approach to individual clients’ needs according to their unique life experiences and preferences, to help them develop a greater sense of self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience. At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship and that through this, the client will have different experiences of relating with others which leads to positive shifts, over time, in their lives. I am trained to work with a broad range of tools including talking and play/arts therapy. My work is grounded in the principles of psychodynamic psychotherapy, play therapy, sand play therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy. I also offer EMDR therapy which can help with a range of issues. Using these therapeutic approaches, I aim to create a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences through creative and expressive techniques.
